Cyanobacteria July 30, 2020 Report

webmaster

Hamblin was the only pond found to be of any concern. A green scum stained the sand about a foot out from shore and many small dead fish were found near shore. Photos of both are below. Although each of these could be cyanobacteria related, there are many other potential causes. The cyanobacteria concentrations placed the pond in our low Warning Tier, but it is close to our moderate tier. The other two ponds saw very low readings for cyanobacteria concentrations.
